Simple search engine for your computer

  • Got fed up with Search Engines that are available for free on web...
or
  • Got tired looking at the way they eat out your system's memory and cpu for indexing services....

or

  • Thinking of installing Windows Vista for its indexing service for its fast search (usally makes system slow) engine as it claims..

or

  • Got bored of your Windows XP's Search with its slow results

then you need to switchover to "Ava Find" here is it link below

Task Manager disabled

If your suffering from a message saying your taskmanager has been disabled, the cause may be due to virus attack.
Your system can't restore disabled taskmanager even after installing latest antivirus and even after regular updating of installed antivirus. so, sometimes  even if your pc is virus free ( as stated by your antivirus after complete system scanning ) you can't enable it and then unneccesary process running in the background cannot be stopped.

so the alternate solution for it is to use process explorer by microsoft.

new virus - ways to remove them

hi i'm bsk
I've come across many virus while working on home pc.... so I'ld think my experiences may
be useful for u.

Initial suggestions to keep ur pc safe:

-------------use: printscreen key on keyboard , paint , save as .jpg extension
-------------keep updating ur screenshots each individually preferably of TASK MANAGER , regularly after installing
1.windows xp
2.ms office
3. acrobat reader
4.players...etc and other softwares.......
so that whenever ur sys is affected with any virus u can find the process in task manager that is resulting in improper functioning of ur pc and then u can end process of that particular program, if ur antivirus doesn't find that virus.

-------------Always keep changing antivirus program on ur pc.

recent virus are :

1.' ,.exe '

Effect: says that '....' some file is missing popping up many windows that pop up continously non stop. It spreads itself into all available drives...

Solution : use 'eset smart security' http://www.eset.com/download/index.php

2.' xmss.exe ' , ' Dd5.exe ', ' Dd6.exe '

Effect: no window except 'my computer explorer window' will remain shown to you. All other windows mostly Task Manager vanish within seconds... antivirus already existing is disabled... no other antivirus is allowed to install onto ur pc.

Solution : just find that them from search and shift delete them and shift delete all suspicious programs
